2012 Season Tickets On Sale 8/2
The NSC Minnesota Stars are in the thick of the playoff hunt in the North American Soccer League’s inaugural 2011 season, but the club is already excited about 2012. Stars season tickets for 2012 will go on sale on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, with special pricing until September 30 for new and renewing season ticket holders. All tickets purchased before that date will be sold at the 2011 prices and will include two passes to a year-end, VIP screening of “Shine On,” an online video series documenting the team.
Tickets purchased from October 1 onward will be sold at the following prices:
Pitch side: $325 ($125 savings on walk-up pricing)
Reserved with chairback: $220 ($90 savings)
Adult general admission: $145 ($75 savings)
Youth general admission: $80 ($45 savings)
Adult Supporters: $160
Youth Supporters: $95
With the exception of pitch side tickets, 2012 season ticket packages include 14 “flex” tickets, which can be used in any combination. Pitch side packages contain 14 game-specific tickets due to the limited availability of on-field seating. Season ticket holders needing extra tickets will also be able to purchase single-game tickets in advance for $1 less than the pre-sale price. All season ticket holders will have playoff ticket priority and will receive a discount on playoff and exhibition game tickets.
“We are excited to offer our season ticket holders new benefits in 2012 including express lines at the concession stands and the Beer Garden and a discount on 2012 team merchandise,” Stars CEO Djorn Buchholz said. “Although all of our season ticket packages are very affordable, we are pleased to offer season ticket holders the opportunity to pay for their season ticket in monthly installments to make it easier on the wallet. Our loyal season ticket holder base is growing each year and I want to say thank you to those loyal fans. As we start to build for next season, I challenge our fans to help us continue that growth and encourage their neighbors to become season ticket holders.”
Season ticket holders receive a variety of benefits. They will have the opportunity to enjoy four pre-game chalk talks with the Stars’ coaching staff. Supporters’ packages include a commemorative Stars scarf, which can be added to any other ticket package for $15. In the stadium, season ticket holders can take advantage of express lines at stadium concessions and the Beer Garden and will have a 10 percent discount on all Stars merchandise purchases at the Planet Soccer tent.
The Stars are also offering several flexible payment options. Fans wishing to pay for their ticket package in installments can pay half at a time or can make monthly payments through April 1 for a small fee.
